Phaze Partners with England Women’s Lacrosse Senior Team Ahead of 2026 World Championships

Phaze has announced a new partnership with England Women’s Lacrosse Senior team as the team prepares for a defining international season, including their upcoming tour to the United States and next summer’s World Championships in Tokyo.

Having won the 2024 European Championships, England’s squad is now targeting the gold-medal match in 2026. But unlike many full-time professional teams, the England women’s programme brings together players balancing elite performance with careers outside of sport. That makes their preparation window critical, and the support of Phaze, even more so.

As part of their build-up to the World Championships in Tokyo next summer, the team will head to the United States this October for a demanding six-game tour in ten days, facing top collegiate sides, including national champions the University of North Carolina.  Phaze will help players and coaching staff manage circadian disruption, jet lag and travel fatigue, ensuring they’re ready to perform from the first whistle.

It’s a packed calendar for the players, with demanding schedules and long-haul travel that can quickly impact readiness. Our role is to help the squad transition faster across time zones and perform at their best from the first whistle, whether that’s against top U.S. college teams this autumn or on the world stage in Tokyo next summer,” said Tom Clark, Founder of Phaze.

The partnership will see all players and staff utilise Phaze’s circadian performance system – combining real-time sleep and biological rhythm data through the Phaze app with performance oversight via the Coaching Hub. This enables England’s strength and conditioning and medical teams to see how players are adapting before, during and after travel, and make informed decisions to help them perform in those key windows.

As the sport continues to grow internationally, with lacrosse now confirmed for inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games, England’s programme is focused on setting new standards in performance preparation.

This group is aiming for a pinnacle season. Having won the European Championships, we’re now targeting the gold-medal match at Worlds. The U.S. tour this year and the Tokyo 2026 tournament both demand rapid adaptation, and Phaze’s support will help us make that transition smoother and more competitive from the outset,” said Josh Wall, Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach for England Lacrosse Women’s Senior Team.

Phaze’s adaptive approach allows each athlete to tailor their circadian plan around their individual travel, sleep and work schedules – ensuring they arrive aligned and ready to compete.

It’s about keeping the whole group moving together. Different flights, changing schedules, multiple time zones – all of that creates challenges. Our job is to help align every player around the same goal: being ready to compete when it matters most,” said Phaze Founder, Clark.

As the team embarks on its U.S. tour this month, the partnership will provide critical live insights and post-tour analysis to refine strategies ahead of Tokyo – setting a new benchmark for how national squads approach performance on the move.
